Meet the Members of the Executive Board


Taylor Billman
 
President - Taylor Ross Billman
Major: Business Administration-Finance
Minor - Economics
Other interests:Phi Delta Theta, IUP Ambassadors, conversation club, extreme sports, and the outdoors.

Biography: Taylor has been a member of SGA since fall 2010. During the ‘10-‘11 academic year he served on the development and finance committee, Co-op finance committee, and search committee for the director of public safety and campus police. At the same time he was president of the philosophy club, was involved with 3 other clubs, and became a founding father of Phi Delta Theta’s, Pa. Lambda chapter. During the fall ’11 semester he studied abroad in Karlstad, Sweden. During the spring ‘12 semester campaigned to be SGA president, Co-op board of directors member, became an IUP Ambassador, and was involved with the conversation club.
 

John Bercik

John has been a member of student government since the
spring of 2010. Since transferring from Westminster College
after his freshman year, John has thoroughly enjoyed his time
at IUP and continues to be heavily involved in various programs/projects in the campus community. After graduation,
John plans to continue his academic career by obtaining his
Masters in Public Affairs at IUP.    

 

Ethan Wang

Biography: Ethan has been a member of SGA since the fall of 2011 and will be going into his junior year at IUP.  Previously Ethan has held numerous other leadership positions on campus such as: being a leader of his honors business cohort in the Eberly College of Business, Treasurer and re-founding father of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, has participated in Alternative Spring Break, founding member of IUP’s Mock Trial Team, and has even appeared on IUP’s homepage as a representative of the school’s “Get My Story Campaign”. Currently Ethan serves as Vice President of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and is a student representative/Treasurer for the Student Cooperative Association’s Board of Directors.
     


Josh Noble

Biography: Josh has been a member of student government since the spring of 2012. Also, he currently serves as Co-Vice President of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He holds himself to a high scholastic standard and has earned his Dean’s List standing each semester. Although he works hard, he plays hard as well, enjoying the time he spends with his fellow brothers and friends. Being from Pittsburgh, he supports all the hometown teams, and loves watching any sporting event. In his free time he plays tennis, golf, soccer, and basically any other physical activity.

Biography: Hello, my name is Taylor Mullholand and will be serving as the External Chair for the 2012-2013 SGA. I am a Criminology Major with minors in Pre Law and History and will be graduating in the spring. In addition to SGA I am the upcoming president of the Sutton Chapter Mortar Board College Senior Honors Society here at IUP. Along with my fellow board members, I would like say welcome

Jachery Chandler

Biography: Zach is a transfer student from Penn State University Park, originally from Eldred Pennsylvania. He has held various positions in student government including several executive positions. Zach joined SGA in the fall 2012 semester and was sworn in as secretary in the first meeting of the Spring Semester. As a part of SGA he has focused on internal structure. Zach strongly encourages each and every student to join SGA, but if you can't do so, please feel free to email him with any suggestions or issues you may have.

 


Matthew Klitch

Biography: Matthew has been a member of the student government since the fall of 2010. He is in his senior year here at IUP studying Natural Sciences and Mathematics with a concentration in pre-Chiropractic. He will be graduating in the spring and after has plans to move down to Atlanta, Georgia to attend Life University for a doctorate in chiropractic. While in SGA he served as secretary, student senator and is currently the treasurer for the 2012-13 year. He is also a member the American Medical Student Association and a member of the Co-op board of directors.

 


Megan Florez

Biography: Megan has been an active member of the Student Government since fall 2010.  Returning for her second year as Internal Affairs Chairwoman, she has also served as a student representative on the Liberal Studies Committee, Winter Term Implementation Committee, Late Night Programming Committee, University Senate, co-chair of the Student House of Representatives, and will serve on this year’s Student Cooperative Association’s Board of Directors.  She is looking forward to another successful and fulfilling year representing and aiding her fellow undergraduates through her final year of college.

 


Andrew Longacre

Biography: Andrew has been a member of student government since fall of 2009.  He has previously served as Chairman of the Student House of Representatives, Vice-President (2010-11), and currently serves on the executive board ex-officio as Student Trustee.  
He is a member of IUP Varsity Track and Field as well as
the Student Cooperative Association's Board of Directors.

 


James Smith

Biography: James, has been a member of the Student Government Association since Spring 2013. He is a member of many clubs including the International Tuba and Euphonium Association where he currently serves as Historian. He is a Political Science Major and a Communications Media and Music (with a focus on Tuba) minor. James continues to be involved with as many activities and projects as possible.
